Yes, first set an amount for your cash fund and add to your registry. You then have the option to hide the total from your guests, which is by default, or you can decide to unhide the total and let your guests see how much you would like.

No. Setting up your gift registry with Wrapistry is free. Setup only takes a few seconds and because it’s all managed online, you can add gifts anywhere, anytime.

After closing your registry, all cash funds shall be affected by way of an electronic transfer into an approved South African bank account nominated in writing by the couple. You can send your banking details to info@wrapistry.shop.

Prior to Wrapistry transfering the funds, you will need to sign a letter in terms of Section 31 of Financial Intelligence Centre Act, No 38 of 2001 together with a copy of your identity document and utility account.

Wrapistry shall pay the full amount contributed by guests towards the cash fund less a 5% processing fee plus R999 once-off transfer fee. There are no costs for your guests.

This fee helps us maintain the service. We have to recover the unavoidable transaction fees charged by credit card companies (if we didn’t charge we would have to stop offering such service).
