Return Policy


Wrapistry offers free returns within 10 days of delivery for most items sold on Wrapistry. Certain restrictions and exceptions apply as outlined below. All items must be unused and in the original retail packaging. We are not able to accept returns on items that are used or do not have the original retail packaging.

Final Sale Items

The following items on Wrapistry are final sale and not eligible for return due to their nature and include sale items, perishable items, furniture, gift cards, experiences and cash funds.

Virtual Exchanges/Returns on Registries

With regards to registries, stock is not held on site and we cannot guarantee the availability of a product at a later stage. Should a gift that was purchased from your registry become out of stock or discontinued, Wrapistry will compensate you with a Wrapistry store credit for the original purchase price of the gift. Please note the value of your Wrapistry store credit will be for the value that your guest paid when making the purchase which may be different from the retail price of the item at any given time.

Your guests will not be notified if you retain their gift as Wrapistry store credit. For items purchased off your registry, we will keep track of the gift originally purchased for you so you can still send an appropriate thank you note.

Wrapistry store credit expires after 1 year and can be used for any physical product or gift card that Wrapistry sells. Wrapistry store credit cannot be redeemed for cash.

Wrapistry Gift Vouchers

Wrapistry gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission. The gift vouchers cannot be resold to or exchanged with a third party and can only be redeemed online at Wrapistry. A gift voucher credit will be placed in your account for a Wrapistry store credit and expires after 1 year from date of issue.

Cash Funds

Wrapistry shall pay the full amount contributed by guests towards the cash fund less a 4,95% bank processing fee plus R750 transfer fee (“Cash Fund Amount”). The Cash Fund Amount shall be affected by way of an electronic transfer into a South African bank account nominated in writing by the couple.

Damaged Items and Vendor Defects

If an item is damaged upon delivery, please reach out to us within 10 days of delivery to ensure that we can get you the proper replacement. You will be prompted to provide a photo of the damaged item and any packaging.

If the item is defective within 10 days of delivery, please contact us at and provide a photo of any visible defects as well as any information pertaining to the issue, regular care and use, and any possible troubleshooting of the issue. For all other defective items, please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty.

Incorrect Item Delivered

We do our best to ensure the product information, availability, purchase price and associated delivery times and fees are accurately reflected on our website. However, should we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you or if the product is not as described on the website, or is missing any parts, please do not remove the product from its original packaging. Notify us as immediately and we will collect the product from you at no charge.

Lost Packages

By default, we only deliver registry items after couples have closed their registry. Should you not receive all your items on delivery, you shall by no later than 5 days of delivery notify Wrapistry in writing at in order for us to investigate the matter further and assist you. After 5 days, it shall be deemed that the items have been duly delivered to you.
